- Tsunami hits the streets on the first Friday of every month.
- The magazine is sent to the printer on the Monday before that Friday.
- Editorial deadline is the Wednesday a week and a half before the street date, however, space is limited so it pays to get in at the start of the month if you would like an interview, profile etc.
- We have a monthly journo meeting on the Wednesday before the street date, so you will need to have sent your CD to Tsunami before that meeting if you want the CD to be reviewed in the following month’s issue.

Confused? Here is an example:
The first Friday of September 2008 is Friday September 5. Therefore the magazine will be sent to the printer on Monday September 1, the editorial deadline is Wednesday August 27 and review CDs would have needed to be received before the September issue meeting, which was held on Wednesday July 30. Not all CDs can be reviewed, but we do our best to get through them all.
Press Releases
As you can imagine, we are inundated with press releases on a daily basis - if you want to join the overwhelming tide, send your release to editorial [at] tsunamimag.com. Be sure to do a few things before you do:
Spell it correctly - we don't have time to fix your bad releases
Be professional - we get too many releases to sift through for hidden treasure. If you don't have the right info on there it's getting trashed.
Be patient! We aren't a big team (but we are perfectly formed) so it can take us some time to get to your release/review.
